In June 2023, I experienced two major life changes. First, I retired from teaching and second, I moved to Sparks from the Bay Area. I have loved teaching and taking care of children for 28 years. Everyone always says, “It takes a special person to teach.” Besides my love of teaching is also my love of animals. I grew up always having pets; cats, dogs, hamsters, mice, turtles, fish, and rabbits. As a teacher, class pets such as guinea pigs, snakes, and hermit crabs have found their way into my classroom. At home we have 2 cats; Pasha, a Tonkenese, and ShuShu, a Ragdoll, both 5 years old (second “set” after 17 wonderful years with the first “set”). We also have a 14 year old Westie named Lacy. As a pet owner, I know how stressful it is to leave your pets. Sometimes I worried so much about my pets I couldn't fully enjoy my vacation! My goal is for you to have peace of mind that your pets are in good, patient, compassionate hands. I took care and nurtured children for 28 years!
